Choosing the right orthodontist for you and your family is a big decision.
When you visit our office in Lake Mary or Longwood, you’ll see that we genuinely care about our patients. Our top priority is to ensure your comfort and happiness.
On day 1, our goal is to show you around, get to know you, examine your smile, explore your treatment options, and create a personalized treatment plan that sets you on the path to a beautiful new smile.
Your initial exam is free.
Your first visit includes a consultation and comprehensive exam from our experienced orthodontist – and it won’t cost you a thing.
We offer no-risk, no-obligation, free exams, because it’s important to us that you feel comfortable with your decision to start treatment with Wiewiora & Dunn Orthodontics.
Before you visit us for your consultation, you can fill out your new patient forms online! This way, your visit will be as efficient as possible.
What to expect on your first visit
Step 1: Meet the team
You’ll meet with one of our new patient coordinators, who will give you a tour of the office and get to know a little bit about you. Once you’re comfortable with your surroundings, we’re ready to begin your orthodontic exam.
Step 2: Get x-rays, scans & photos
The iTero device produces a quick, easy, comfortable digital impression scan (no goopy putty necessary) but it also allows you to preview your predicted treatment results before you begin treatment! You’ll be able to see a digital simulation of your new smile at your very first visit.
We’ll take digital x-rays with our low-radiation x-ray machine. If needed, a CBCT scan will be taken to assess areas of concern.
Dr. Wiewiora or Dr. Dunn will use these diagnostic photos, digital impression scan and x-rays to create your personalized treatment plan!
Step 3: Meet your orthodontist
Your orthodontist will discuss all findings with you, present you with our treatment options, and discuss what you can expect throughout your orthodontic journey.
We’ll answer all of your questions and tell you everything you need to know about your braces or Invisalign® treatment.
Step 4: Pick your payment plan
We’ll discuss your needs, calculate your insurance benefit, review our office policies, and develop a payment plan with low monthly payments.
Step 5: Start your transformation!
If you choose Invisalign clear aligners, we can take your digital impression scan at your first visit, and begin the process to create your custom clear aligners!
